Bought these at Madison Westowne store 2-6-2020 with many promises of quality and durability in this Jasper model - perfect for my 3-4 days a week one-hour hikes in wet weather and dry, I was told. Dri-Walk waterproofing just as good as Gore-tex, I was told.nnA week or two ago, 17 months into using them, my feet were wet from morning dew and then after another walk, the morning after a rain. But it wasn't the waterproofing. Today I looked at my shoes when I felt my toes getting moist walking in a prairie - the body of the shoe had TORN AWAY from the rubber sole!!nnThese shoes are about $40 -50 less than Lowa and Ecco brand shoes I have bought in the past - but I will spend more from now on to get shoes I can count on. Jaspers - never again!
