Double Cut

I went to this place with one of my friends, and overall it was a very nice experience. The prices are pretty high, but the food is definitely worth it. The mashed potatoes are to DIE for, and the salmon i tried was also amazing. Service is excellent; very friendly staff.

The food here was phenomenal! I started with the French Onion Soup that was one of the best I've ever had. Our server also gave us a complimentary loaf of Asiago Bread that came out hot and so soft. For the main course I have the Bone in Ribeye. It had such great flavor and was cooked exactly how I requested. I also had a side of Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Creamed Corn. Both were awesome and packed with great flavor! If you are staying in the Dells and looking for an A+ Steakhouse. Check out Double Cut!

Most amazing streak I've had. The kids meal mini sliders looked so good that I wished I was 12 lol. We got two different streaks and the garlic mashed potatoes with the complementary bread. Everything was amazing

We come to the Kalahari 4 or 5 times per year and have visited double cut almost every time. The last couple times before Covid the service was not good at all......terrible in fact! We just had dinner and everything was on point! Mallory our server was amazing! She was on top of everything and had an awesome attitude! As a business owner good employees are hard to find, we will be requesting her every time we come. Additionally the rest of the staff seemed to have a great attitude overall and the food presentation and quality was also much better. Typically a reflection of management as well so awesome job to everyone, well done! Please keep up the great work!

I want to start off by saying the food here is nothing short of amazing for the most part. The service, on the other hand, left much to be desired. It was by far the best steak I have ever had, but I would pass on the lobster mac and cheese if I were to come back. It hadn't been bad, but it was definitely not up to my expectations based on how the rest of our meal tasted. Now on to the bad parts. First, we waited over 20 minutes past our reservation time to actually get seated. Had this been the only problem, I would chalk it up to people enjoying their meal longer than expected and not be writing this review. But alas, this was only the beginning. We waited 10 minutes to get our drink orders in. This was also when we noticed one of our wine glasses set at our table was full of lipstick. The server made a snarky comment that we wouldn't be using the glasses on the table anyway since we ordered a white wine and the glasses were for red wines. The comment rubbed me the wrong way, but I tried to let it go. 20 more minutes later we finally get our bottle of wine brought to our table with an apology that it took so long since they couldn't find the bottle we asked for so they had to look around for it. Once the food got to our table we were a bit more satisfied. Had the meal been cheaper these things problems wouldn't have bothered us so much, but if I am spending $200 dollars for a two-person dinner date, I don't expect to have so many issues with the service. I likely won't be back again.
