Aka Lakeside

We were here for a Mexican night on a Wednesday and the food was fantastic, especially the homemade salsa and the steak fajita special. The bartender was so nice, and the service was great even though it was super busy. I highly recommend checking out their Wednesday night specials.

Although we didn't eat this day, we plan to do that soon. The atmosphere and view is cozy and welcoming. I LOVED watching the Loon on the lake! This place is my new Clark County fave!!

Very good food. Good service

Back in September we were hitting the Black River Falls Trail system on our ATV's. We made it about 3 hours from our vehicle when my rear tire assembly broke and I was instantly stranded. Cell service was limited and we had zero tools. A passerby was kind enough to stop and we were able to reattach the tire well enough, to baby the ATV to the Rock Dam Bar (aka Lakeside). The bartender Ann was extremely welcoming and understanding of my situation. She gave me directions to her house where her husband Rob was working. Rob, being a complete stranger treated me like an old friend. He dropped everything and attempted to repair the ATV. Ultimately the damage was to extensive to repair. Rob, knowing our vehicle was over a three hour trail ride away, volunteered to drive me in his truck to pick up my vehicle. I told Rob i would fill up his tank; which he agreed to accept. While filling up i noticed Rob only filled his tank halfway (even though i told him to fill it) . 1.5 hours later we arrived at my vehicle. I told Rob that i needed fuel for my truck and he graciously escorted me to a gas station; which was not on any map or applications i had. After filling up, we drove back to the bar, met the rest of my party and loaded up the ATV. Rob and my party had a few beers and thanked Rob and Ann for everything. Rob's only request was that i pay it forward next time i see someone in hardship and to write this review to help spread the word of his family owned business. I cant say enough about Ann and Rob, thank you and ill see you in the Fall!
