1st time here on UTV trip and the place to stop.nnBoth Food and Service were GREAT!!! We had Haddock, Perch and Walleye all were cook perfect and don’t forget the bread warm right out of the oven. Dessert chocolate raspberry cheese. Server Maddie was THE BEST. We will return.

Great friendly owners and staff that serves fantastic food whether it may be steaks, prime rib, seafood, or fish with plenty of other options as well. My wife and I eat there on a fairly regular basis and we can't say enough about the place. Portions are by far larger than any other restaurant in the area. They seat you as fast as possible when busy and are very pleasant in doing so. Dirty dishes don't sit on the table and build up they are taken by any staff that walks by whether it's their table or not. Something you don't get at many restaurants is the owner coming into the dining area and asking customers hownthings are and if they are enjoying their dinner, that goes a long way in my book showing me they care about their customers and we aren't just another number. If you haven't been to the Stones Throw and are in the area give them a try you won't be disappointed, heck even if your not in the area it certainly is worth a drive!

Awesome service. Wait was a little long but we didn't have reservations. Ambiance was awesome- lake town, friendly. Recommend the whole grain bread. Would encourage a lake-type fare rather than high end steaks. Didn't expect reheated frozen vegetables when fresh produce is in season. All in all, we'll be back.

It's not inexpensive but my wife says they have the best steaks. I usually get the cedar plank salmon and it has always been good. Oh, and the warm loaf of bread, that alone is worth the visit.
