Stay away from doing a mortgage with Eric Van Den Busch at North Shore Bank! We went through all the work of refinancing with him, and he was saying how North Shore Bank is a local bank, etc. etc. Once everything was signed and done, North Shore Bank SOLD our mortgage before we could even make the first payment on it! Now it's with some mortgage company we've never even heard of. We're just starting to look into them, and hopefully they're a reputable company because we're stuck with them unless we decide to refinance and pay all those fees AGAIN. Not happy with our experience with Eric or Northshore Bank because of this and don't recommend them at all.
