We had an amazing evening at the good thyme tonight! It was our anniversary! The food and drinks were awesome!! The only down side was the hostess! While efficient, she sure did NOT make us feel welcome! Last night when I called to make a reservation she was not at all accommodating! And tonight when we arrived we had the same feeling that we were not guests but inconveniences! This is such a great place! They need a hostess at least with a smile!!.

Last and fourth night in the area-BEST RESTAURANT I HAVE BEEN TO.nSo delicious!!!! Very quaint, in the country. From the greeting so welcoming! We were asked if we wanted to be seated outside or inside. We chose outside! It was very lit up with atmospheric lights and the laughter of happy guests was attractive! We purchased a bottle of wine and an entree. The waitress didn’t know much about wine but neither do I ud83dude02. It was very good! The meal we ordered—- was TO DIE FOR. the steak was cooked just to our liking. The sauce the potatoes and meat were In were DELECTABLE. I left SUPER full and raving of our good meal. I could go on and on about how good it was but I suggest you to try it for yourself. ud83dude09

Went here our 10 year anniversary dinner. I had the 14 oz ribeye, and my wife had the filet. I am a steak guy and know a good piece of meat and both mine and hers were excellent. Both steaks had wonderful sauces that were very tasty. I will say however that my steak was most certainly not 14 oz. My best guess was 11 oz. It was still plenty though. The dinners came with a mixed green salad with a homemade Asian style dressing, and a ciabatta roll. I was not very impressed with the cold butter packet for the bread. Butter packets are for cafeteria’s not fine dining in my opinion. I had smashed red potatoes and steamed broccoli with my steak. The potato’s were cooked perfectly, but lacked salt. The steamed broccoli was basically an afterthought. I would love to give this place 5 stars because they got a lot right. Just would have liked to see a little more effort on a few items. I would return again because the meal was above average though and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Very cozy but classy atmosphere. The fish fry was the best I’ve ever had; the waitress mentioned the whitefish had been caught that same morning. Cookie skillet was also excellent for dessert. Overall, great experience...worth the short drive from Bayfield if you’re visiting the area.

I took friends from California to the fish fry, July 24,2020. My third time in three weeks! The greeter, Penny, Mary and Gordy the bartender make me feel so welcome! As always food was delicious!nGreat desert! Great drinks! Great service!Eat drink & be merry! Thank you for another great dining experience!
