Applebee's is kinda special in that it isn't as good as the local places, but it isn't as bad as the camp food I eat daily as a counselor at the local Scout camp. After 9pm the appetizers are half price, so this place suddenly becomes amazing. They handled our camp staff of 22 suddenly dropping in on them fairly well, so points for preparedness. Average food, pretty great service. Overall a fine place to go of you're looking for a good cheap meal
We went to Rice Lake to pick up materials and decided to get lunch. Several places were closed or limited due to the virus. Applebee's was serving so we figured it was the safe bet.nI was surprised at the quality of the streaks and the fact that they were prepared perfectly!! Better than I've had lately at other places that brag about their Steaks. Service was excellent, efficient, accurate, personable. Medium rare was achieved and that thyme butter really made the steaks flavor pop.
I wish I could give 0 stars because our server Tina or whatever her name is. Was very rude to my boyfriend and I and they didn't have the drinks we wanted on tap but it said it on the menu and she didn't offer any suggestions. Will not be coming back here again and wasting 6$ each on a drink.
Amazing food and even better service.
Can dine in. Nice people.
