This is my first time to eat bison and I have to say, this ground bison is the best ground meat I’ve ever had! Smells good out of the package and the flavor is rich. No seasoning needed for me, all I want is that natural ground bison flavor. Plus, it’s much more filling than beef. I can easily eat a pound of ground beef in one sitting, but a 1/3 pound bison patty with a sweet potato is very filling, and I stay full. Shipping was fast and the meat was frozen solid. Dry ice was easy to dispose of too. Very happy with my purchase, will buy more.

Excellent Quality! The shipping was faster than I expected. I was glad to see how carefully everything was packed for shipping. My order was still perfectly frozen when arriving. You can tell they have put a lot of thought and care into shipping and keeping quality top notch.nnThe only negative I experienced was some items I wanted being out stock. However, that is just a testament to how high the demand is. It did have me try some new things, which I was happy to do.nnI will be ordering again soon.

Delicious, excellent quality! I order meat for myself and for my pups (I have two German Shepherds and a Chihuahua). I feel better knowing that I am feeding them (and myself) something that is very high quality and healthy. The meat is always fresh when I open the packages, no smells, excellent coloring, and stays fresh for days even after defrosting in the fridge. My dogs love the lamb heart and elk and bison meat! And I love the lamb and chicken. Order from them... you won't be disappointed!

I've never purchased bison outside of the supermarket ground bison, so I decided to order a sampler pack from Northstar Bison. It was great. Tender, juicy, packed with protein. This is where it's at. I'm allergic to some of the ingredients in the snack packs so they were nice enough to swap those out for some more ground bison. Customer service was very courteous and helpful when I talked with them. I highly recommend Northstar Bison

We love Northstar Bison in our house. We do not eat beef or pork and like to eat bison instead. It is fresh and they deliver super fast. Northstar is also a responsible company and we love that. I get the rabbit saddles for my dad and he loves them! My favorite is the 3oz filets. They melt in your mouth.
