Stopped here on a recommendation. This place is amazing! The atmosphere is warm, cozy and inviting. Feels very comfortable when you walk in. The staff was both friendly and attentive, they pay attention to the details which make the dining experience all the better. Finally THE FOOD....wow! Everything was delicious, but I especially loved the mussels. You can't go wrong at this place and I highly recommend it if you are in the area.

Atmosphere is comfortable and clean. Servers helpful and polite. I like that they put a carafe of water on the table, so you don't have to ask for it. I would rather have a small basket with a couple rolls, instead of 1 small slice of bread put on plate, but that could have been because I was absolutely starving. Salad was great, beef short rib was wonderful and not fatty. Kitchen was a little slow, but could have been close to closing. I enjoyed my dinner there and I will definitely be going back. Call and make a reservation advised.

Like all of our past visits, we so enjoyed our dinner last evening with some good friends who were visiting for the first time. Our salads were wonderfully flavored and we had four different entrees and four different desserts. Every one was delicious and beautifully presented. On top of all this, the service was first class and very attentive. Congratulations Skip. We can’t wait for our next visit.

When we visit our son and daughter-in-law our favorite restaurant is Elixer. Our recent dinner on 10/10 was fantastic. Waitress Tara was spot on with the timing, service, and knowledge. The owner Skip was ever present in the background to be sure all was well with the diners.nThe bar makes really good cocktails. The menu is diverse and our dishes were excellent: Scallops with risotto, salmon, mussels appetizer, fresh bread: all were top notch. The ambiance is warm and inviting. This place deserves to be tried. The best restaurant in the area, including Hanover. These people are working hard in tough times and deserve a try, or two.

Food was fabulous, scallops flavorful and tender, so smooth. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, she added so much to the experience. I hope to come back next time I'm in the area.
