Food in Tavern was good but hit or miss as far as when they are open. Closed more often than open. Pretty frustrating. Have tried to go multiple times but was only open once.
Owner was very rude and not helpful. Turned away a 5 top table Yet has a full restaurant full of patrons.
I've been there twice and enjoyed both meals.
They REFUSED service despite being open for another 2 hours!!!! Hello? I am reading reviews and it’s super common apparently. Don’t go here before 5-6pm or you likely won’t get service
They had the best shepherd's pie for a time, then their menu changed to something else that was also delicious - but still not as good as the shepherd's pie. The giant ice cream cookie dessert is tight. They fully embrace the sports scene. We watched some women's world cup soccer on a Sunday afternoon in the summer. Japan v US. Nice friendly vibe all around.
