We’ve been here a few times and must say the food is outstanding. Staff was super friendly. We also went to the Thanksgiving buffet in 2019 and it was outstanding! Anytime I’m in the area we are sure to go here.
Good food, waitress was great, but we waited for 5 minutes to be seated and then the host asked us three ladies if we minded if he sat the three couples behind us in line because he ‘knew their table’? He came back and we said “They must be special customers [if he sat them before us]” and he said “Oh, well they come here twice a week”- we saw them on the way out and they had CT plates.
We found the food to be pretty good. The prime rib was very nice. The hanger stake was very small for the price. Our biggest issue is our waiter did not like us. 2 tables that arrived after us both got appetizers and meals before us. We were a party of 4. The other two tables were a party of 6 and party of 2. We raised this with the waiter and he said our meals took longer because one prime rib was medium well. Seriously? He took their order first. That why they came out first. Hopefully you wont be judged if you go there.
Last Wednesday evening was perfect. This evening, the chef overcooked my wife's prime rib however mine was as we both ordered. The service was good.
Great food at reasonable prices. Glad we chose to eat at this place for our one night stay at Ludlow VT
