TL;DR: Fantastic, personalized, professional consultation; great selection; extremely fabulous prices.nThe time had come to upgrade my skis, so I called Jonathan. While I'd done a lot of research beforehand and had a decent idea of what I wanted, it'd been a long time since I'd gotten new gear and was hoping for a high-touch, consultative experience, which is exactly what I got from Vermont Ski and Sport. We had a phone interview about my ability and terrain preferences, as well as an extensive text exchange including, but not limited to, videos of me leaning forward in my boots. To say he's thorough would be an understatement. When I came in for my appointment, he'd already narrowed his recommendations to a few pairs, which we weighed at length before landing on the just-right pair. Later, he sent me his binding recommendation for approval, then had everything mounted for me. I couldn't be happier, and I paid far less than I'd expected to. I can't wait for ski season to start so I can tell him exactly how perfect my skis are for me.

I had difficulty finding any store with Inflatable paddle boards in stock. I can across Vermont Ski and Sport. I was able to order and pickup the next day. Jonathan responded to all of my questions very quickly by text.nnThe board was waiting when I arrived to pickup, Jonathan let me know to call if there were any questions once after the sale.nnI would highly recommend this store.

I had a great experience with my iSUP purchase and continued support from Vermont Ski and Sport. Jonathan went above and beyond to answer any questions that I had about the equipment and replace an original defective pump with an upgraded version from Fanatic. I would definitely return to this store for future outdoor equipment needs.

This is the best shopping experience I've had in a very long time. Jonathan knows his products and sports intimately but most importantly takes the time to get to know his customer and their needs. This is what specialty retail is all about, if you are in the market for paddleboard or ski gear you should absolutely contact him. Hands down best shop in New England.

I had the best experience with Jonathan when I bought an inflatable SUP (stand up paddle board) from him! He’s so knowledgeable and provides practical advice, including how to store the board, where to get a cheap car rack, and all the local good eats! He answers my texts quickly, and no question is too silly. When we got home, we realized we were missing the fin and leash, and Jonathan got in his car and drive them down to Wilmington ASAP. Now that’s service !!! In addition to SUPs, he’s got loads of ski boots and skis, so I’ll def be going back for my winter sports. Love Vermont Ski and Sport !
