Spoke with Rick at length about skis and ski tech. Wonderful experience and a few laughs too. Bought a pair of Stockli Laser SXs for an incredible price mounted, tuned and waxed. In an era of big consumer shops and fake customer service it is refreshing to see someone with passion and know-how share their love and knowledge of the sport. Class act. Will be back, not only for a new pair of planks, but anytime I need serious ski tech done. Thanks Rick!

I always had good experiences here growing up, and Rick is one of two techs in the area that I trusted to base grind my race skis.nThat said, I recently brought a pair of old race skis in to get freshened up, and Rick refused to work on them. As a local race coach, and someone Rick probably recognizes, I was treated with incredible disregard. I traveled a long way to visit Ski Sharp because they do good work and I was hoping for a quick turnaround, but it was a waste of a trip.nI ended up bringing the skis to another trusted shop, and was taken care of no problem. We chuckled about Rick turning away my money.

I’ve been a customer at ski sharp for more than 30 years. Rick and his son have always done a meticulous job tuning. This is the only shop I take new skis to be mounted. I always know Rick will get it right the first time!

I would give Rick at Ski Sharp 10 stars if I could. I recently purchased my first Stockli”s with him and it’s very obvious he has an incredible amount of experience to provide you the best options tailored to individuals needs. Rick has done an incredible job recommending the perfect setup in addition to his outstanding tune job prior to shipment. These were my first Stockli’s and won’t be my last with Rick. These are by far the best ski‘s I’ve ever experienced in the past 30 years of skiing, I will never purchase another brand ski.
