I was actually planning on going to the diner next door when I saw this bakery. Popped in and got a cheese danish, and I was blown away.nnExcellent flavor, incredible lamination. The butter in particular had me wondering if it was lower in beta carotene and fat, since the buttery flavor was gentle, the dough was firm, and the pastry wasn’t greasy.nnI also think the flour composition was atypical from the usual restaurant supply or grocery brands, since it had an excellent structure.nnFor the filling, I won’t even get started on how much I loved the cheese. Take my word for it, it was amazing. Great flavor, great texture.nnI was absolutely blown away by this danish. It was worthy of many more than five stars.nMichelle and any staff she may have are amazing.nnAny time I’m in the area, I will be sure to make a stop here.
We stopped in for a quick snack and the giant cookie bar we bought was so delicious! We are hoping to stop in again before our trip ends. What a gem.
I shouldn't, but I stop here often. Michelle is really very talented and makes excellent treats. The eclairs are amazing and I love her molasses cookies. My wife will tell you that I am fussy... but i love this place!!
Michelle made some wonderful and beautiful cupcakes for our college daughter's birthday. We live out of state, so she also had them delivered to the student center for us too! Much appreciated :)
