The new outdoor seating is perfect for Vermont. Heaters will keep you warm but you still get fresh air! Menu is great and Zero Gravity beer is always great

During this time of covid, it's a nice place for an outdoor meal.

It was really good. I had the rice bowl with chicken...yummy fried tofu‼Sat outside and relaxed with family. Well behaved dogs on leashes are allowed. I would highly recommend

Wait and bar staff were great. Wait was acceptable for a Friday night. Drinks were okay. Food was the weak link. I and the 3 other people dining with me felt it was like someone trying to make a name and failing with all the try too hard appetizers and entrees. Out of the four I got the local attempt, imo, at a chicken katsu dish on overcooked white rice. The burger another person got was very small and they weren’t asked how they wanted it prepared. Came out on the medium rare side. Also it comes with nothing. Scallop ceviche had no flavor other than big slices of raw jalapeños. French fry / pork appetizer while tasty on the surface quickly runs out of toppings and you’re left with....plain French fries. For 200 plus dollars you can do much much better in Burlington.nnAgain the wait staff is great. Too bad about the food.

Came to visit from out of town, their outdoor seating system is such a sh%tshow. I thought Burlington was ahead of the curve - definitely not @ The Great Northern.nThey basically claim it’s “first come first serve” basis for seating, but have no way to keep track of the many parties that are waiting for a table.nnSo, I was given no choice but to hover near a table to ensure that people who arrived after me would take my place in line (probably not the safest thing for a restaurant to promote during covid....).nIt’s not that hard to write down “party of two” on a list and help keep track of this chaos. You have a speaker to announce when food is ready - why not use it for announcing tables are ready? It’s kind of a wonder how people bother to come here...
