Blue Cat Steak and Wine Bar

Went for our anniversary. We were hesitant when we first arrived because both their food and wine menu was severely limited compared to pre-COVID. They only had a single steak item on the menu, but we were very pleased with the experience. We had a nice cheese platter, a beautiful shrimp cocktail for appetizers and ribeyes for our main course. The ribeyes were amazing! The Chef was able to make substitutions for us and the service was excellent. I look forward to when things return to normal but for the time being I’m very happy with what Blue Cat is offering.

Great little place, very cozy for an special dinner. Food and appetizers are great and tasty. Just needs to improve the service too slow, food takes too long.

My wife and I went for our anniversary and loved it. It was where I took her for our second date years ago and she so fondly remembered it and was just as happy this time. Our dishes had wonderful portion size and flavor

This was the best steak I've ever eaten in Vermont, and one of the best anywhere. Excellent wine selection and other dishes also - the beef Burgundy was especially good. Other comments about the slow service have a grain of truth, but it was attentive and polite - you just get the impression that they would like to hire an additional waiter, but can't. Anyway, I would recommend the food strongly, but wouldn't go here for dinner if you necessarily have movie tickets afterward.

Small dining room, but feels very intimate. The food here is very good and I would definitely come back again.
