Excellent experience doing business with Dave. Dave just sold me what may be the last Ruger 9MM PC Carbine currently available in the USA for a fair price. It was a fun experience. Dave is very personable and has a great sense of humor. Anyone who has an issue with Dave should take a look in the mirror and you will see who really is the problem and it ain't Dave!

David is a wonderful gunsmith. He runs the store pretty much by himself. He is facing serious health issues. Please give this distinguished man a break. And for those of you who can’t say a kind word go somewhere else.

I got a chuckle out of the negative reviews, so I thought that I would add one of my own.nnIt is important to know that Mr. Pidgeon is a Vermonter, really knows his stuff, and has put in some time living. If you don’t know how to do business with such a man, then spend a few years around some old school native Vermonters and then go back and do some business. I go to see Mr. Pidgeon to help me find the weapon that will do what I want it to do. I have even gone in with pre-conceived notions of what I wanted, only to be pointed in a better direction. I have always been more pleased with the results than I expected, and I have rather specific and relatively high expectations. I have always gone in looking for the weapon that did what I wanted, and always got a good deal simply because that is what Mr. Pidgeon gave me. I have never checked to see if I could have gotten a better deal elsewhere; his deal was always better than what I was expecting. But what you get with Mr. Pidgeon that you won’t get anywhere else is a level of knowledge and experience that you can’t find anywhere. And that comes for free.nnI don’t know that Mr. Pidgeon is doing much gunsmithing these days, he told me that his hands aren’t what they used to be, but I got started with Mr. Pidgeon because of some magic he did on my S&W Model 19 Target. Nowadays I get the same magic from the information and guidance he gives me. I have family members who have gone to him for the same reasons. I hope he lives long and prospers, because I don’t know anywhere else I will be able to get that.

He advertises his gunsmith services online on his website, but refuses to pay his annual gunsmith license fee so cannot do anything except gripe about the Obama Administration and how it's putting him out of business. He might be a good gunsmith, but now only sells firearms and ammo, and offers free anti-Liberal gibberish to all who'll listen to his misguided tripe. Avoid this old crank at all costs.
