Park Squeeze

Love this place. Highly recommend trying chef Justin's weekly special burgers. Interesting comination that are delicious.

When we came in, the restaurant was completely empty, yet they told us that it was about to get busy, so we would have to sit in a “special area.” That special area was a tiny room off the bar, directly next to the bathroom, and it had wobbly tiny cocktail tables for us to eat at and a lovely view of their dumpsters out back. Since the hostess said they were about to get hit with a big rush upon our arrival, I was okay with this, but when we finished eating at the awkward wobbly tables, we got up to leave only to see that the restaurant was still empty aside from maybe two tables. I’m not sure what the meaning behind it all was, but I was confused and too livid to say anything without losing my cool, so we just left. The food was OKAY. Vermont level good, which means that you’ll love it if you don’t know any better, but if you’ve been outside of state lines, don’t get your hopes up for anything impressive. The server was nice and almost acted as if he felt badly for us being sat there, but once our food was ordered and delivered, he was a ghost. It took an extremely long time to get our check and even longer to pay despite the virtually empty bar. Overall, this was an awful experience and the food didn’t come close to making up for the poor treatment we endured. We will 100% never go back, and if you don’t look like a back country Vermont hillbilly, I wouldn’t recommend going either. At least- that’s my guess as to why we were placed in the room of shame because nothing else really stood out about us. Very bizarre. We didn’t look like the “regulars” of Vergennes, VT, I guess. Yikes.

Great food! Priced Right. Burgers are always great, hard to beat.

Good service, good food. The Squeeze Burger is really good, and their burger of the week is usually spot on as well. Call ahead for seating to get a table right when you walk in
