This man has been making handmade shoes, bags, wallets and belts out of leather for over 50 years. Truly a master at his work and one of the last few people with his skill set in the country. This place is worth visiting at least for the authenticity of the shop if not for the products themselves
Great repair on my favorite department store leather shoes, they look better than when I first bought them. Now time to save up for a pair from Mr. Freeman!
I have purchased 2 handmade bags from Dan's own hands and they have withstood the test of time. I got them over 10 years ago and still use them today. Dan is a super nice fellow, has really cool stories and is very candid and open. He also altered some Frye boots for me and really remade them into boots I loved. And he has also stretched shoes for me. I have always been super satisfied with his work. Can highly recommend.
He does a great job and solved .my leather problem in about 15 minutes.
