I was introduced to Katy and Lewes Lettering Co. by way of Katy's sister Annie, who raved and raved about her sister and her talent in wedding paper design, and in full transparency - I used to work for a boutique that did custom wedding paper so really thought I knew quite a bit... but BOY after one conversation with Katy, I knew she was the only route I was going to take with our wedding paper and design. Getting married during a pandemic is no easy task, and as with many other couples, our plans changed a few times. Katy was gracious, flexible, calming, and quick to respond. She made what can be a really trying experience lovely. Her connections and recommendations to others in the industry to make our invitations/vision exactly what we wanted was helpful and we achieved all we were looking to. Though we ended up cancelling our 'big' day, we chose to share our invitations in a special way with friends and family, and we never would have been able to do this without Katy. I can't wait to work with Katy for any new projects that require paper in the future!
Beyond grateful. I have no words to describe how much we appreciate Katy and all of her hard work. She cultivated the magic of our wedding with each perfect little hand crafted detail. I had the pleasure of working with Katy to create my wedding invitation suite. She is a dream! She was so easy to work with and made the entire process so stress-free. Her work is GORGEOUS and I’ve received so many compliments on my invitations! Her calligraphy styles are perfect. The wax seals, crests and her cotton paper blend are stunning and make the suite so unique- I can’t say enough about how perfect this process was!nI was even lucky enough to work with her for a second time to create postponement cards (pandemic problems) and they’re more beautiful than I could have imagined them. It made the process of postponing easier seeing how beautiful the cards turned out. I highly recommend Katy at Lewes Lettering Co!
Working with Lewes Lettering Co. was my absolute favorite part of the wedding planning process. Katy made everything so easy and organized. She completely understood my vision for our wedding suite and also offered tons of creative suggestions to make it even better. She made us TWO wedding logos that we loved so much that we incorporated both into our wedding details and she came through in the last minute when we ran into a snafu with our seating chart. I can't recommend Katy/Lewes Lettering Co. enough!
We loved working with Katy on our Save the Dates and Wedding Invitations! Neither my husband or myself is very creative, so it was amazing to watch her take the themes we wanted to include and turn it into a beautiful and cohesive suite. We even re-used our calligraphy name logo on everything from napkins at the events to a stamp for all the thank yous.nnKaty is very responsive and organized, it was so easy to work with her and she spent time brainstorming with us and sending us different proofs to find the perfect fit. Many people told us it was the most beautiful wedding invitation they'd ever received and we will treasure the copies we have as keepsakes (and the save the date was an ornament shape so that goes on our Christmas tree :)
