I cannot thank the staff of SUN behavioral enough for their care and how they took care of my brother while he was receiving treatment.nThank you to the team especially Caitlin Grant, Dr. John McGraw, Stacey McDaniel and to so many more names I cannot remember.nFrom the receptionist to every single team member at SUN behavioral, I say a big thank you to you for your care, professionalism and for doing what you do to help people and families who have a loved one struggling with mental illness.nMy family and I are indeed grateful. Thank you once again for what you do and God bless you all.

I'm very happy we finally have a place like this for the people in our community. I wish this place was here 4 years ago for my father who passed due to alcoholism. The people there care and its addressing a huge problem in our community. Of course there is room for improvement but it seems to be leaps and bounds above other places. Very clean. They have 6 smoke breaks a day and have coffee. They feed you pretty much all day long. Before COVID-19 they would have family visiting. They have a half court gym and a big cafeteria. I believe this hospital can hold 90 patients. I think it's a great thing.

Out of the 11 straight days I stayed at SUN Behavioral I only went outside for a total of 45 minutes. They only have around 3 positive NPs’ in the children’s units. The rest of the staff is unnecessarily rude. There is no communication throughout the staff what so ever. As I went in I was told I could call my parents whenever I wanted and that I would be able to go into my room as needed. Little did I know they only allow about two hours a day for “phone time”. When there are 19+ other people in the same unit, talking to your parents becomes nearly impossible. I also soon discovered that I wasn’t allowed into my room when I wanted nor the restrooms. They lock everything and I must ask for permission, and if I was in group therapy or ‘class’ they wouldn’t allow me to go. I had to wait until it was over. This, along with the lack of being outside, and other matter I had experienced during my stay, is very unhealthy. ESPECIALLY when you’re dealing with a rough case of depression and dissociative personality disorder. Would not recommend!!!!

I work for an organization that coordinates treatment for substance use disorder. We access the services at Sun Behavioral quite frequently. It is a beautiful center with an amazing staff and really great to work with.
