The food is great, the customer service is excellent. I was also impressed how fast they prepared the food and with high standards. The atmosphere was friendly and wasn’t sketchy like some of the places I’ve been to.
The Pond has a bar atmosphere with high quality than average bar food. The bartenders and servers are always friendly. One of my go to spots when I just want to chill with some good food and a beer.
I have never had a more disappointing experience entering this bar which I have known for 30 years. We patiently waited for the live music tonight went to dinner with intent to stop back here and enjoy the live music I was approached by a staffer who demanded we commit on the spot to whether we were going to eat inside or outside.. We walked in enjoying the music and dancing for a few short seconds before our plans to sit down as settle in for the evening.Does anybody remember dancing to a band as you enter an establishment? I guess now this is a Covid crime.. Again very heavy-handed and disappointing to the person in charge with greeting customers who have come to enjoy the establishment. The end result the four of us turned around and left. I guess business must be good.
Read many high rated reviews for great burgers. They were just ok. We got take out (COVID-19 precautions), so didn't check each burger. Sides not correct, toppings not correct, and EVERY burger out of 7 was well done (all were supposed to be medium to medium rare). The bar and music were great to enjoy while we waited. Friendly, nice atmosphere though. Would stay next time with a smaller party, have some drinks and bar food, watch a game or listen to live music.
Absolutely great place. Wife and I came down from the Pa, mountains and we saw the Bj’s Jam Crew absolutely entertaining. Can’t wait for our next visit.
