We have always enjoyed this place. We felt safe dining there during these times. All in our party of 5 were disappointed that the food came out cold. Hoping it was an off night! Our waiter was fantastic. We will go again when things get better out there. We would never give up on this wonderful restaurant.
Amazing food in a historic tavern. Try the chef's board and other spread with homemade peanut butter. Everyone in the family will find something they love here.
It was very cold inside where we were sitting. They set us by the front door and it was a very rainy cold night to begin with. They wanted us to use our cell phones to scan their menu. They only had one menu for a table of four. We complained about it being so cold and about not having a menu for each person. We waited while they printed some menus. We found the dinners to be pricey. Don't think a meatloaf dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans should cost $26. The atmosphere was not all that. I asked for a second cup of hot tea and had to wait a while because the waitress said the tea was locked up in a pantry downstairs. That just doesn't make sense. The small birthday cake that was ordered taste like it had been in the freezer too long. We will not be in any rush to go back to this restaurantud83dude1e

Good food and friendly staff. The food coming out was a little slow. Good beer selection too.
