Guess the regulars must keep this place from closing. Stopped in yesterday just as they reopened after losing power. The beer was just about cold. They guy I was with, a regular, was asked if his beer was cold enough but not me. Then it got stranger... not counting us and the staff, there were maybe five other patrons at the bar, I asked the bartender/owner if the could put the NASCAR race on one of the many TVs and was told flat out NO. I thought he was kidding and eventually would put the race on one of the TVs for me but that didn't happen. I finished my drink and we left. Went and spent my money at a better establishment and watched the race there. Will not be returning to this bar that definitely doesn't care about customers if you are not a regular.
Food and service by Lauren (sp) was 5 star rated.
My family comes here every single Friday night. Good food can get busy but for a bar the food is pretty dang good. It's an older crowd but if you got some buddies is a decent spot to shoot the breeze and play some pool.
Murphs is great, the bartenders are sweethearts!!
The food is good, the staff is nice. Few pool tables, a nice quiet place if you're looking for that. The people (customers) are different age groups which is nice.
