Place for people to pass on. A relative was ill. The local hospital got her stable and after 6 weeks or so transferred her here for rehab. Wouldnt allow visitors which tore her and her husbands hearts apart. They let her husband in after multiple attempts . Thank you to Donna. she i believe was a administrator, and she was great and a good person and without her I dont think they would of let him back in to see her. Her husband felt a couple of the nurses were good. But the majority were not, they couldnt dress some wounds right due to lack of supplies and Due to the general lack of care she passed. She may not of made it anyway due to age, and general health . but they were a acute care facility, and if she was going downhill she should of transferred back to ICU. they didnt and too late. Lake of care cause a very good person to leave sooner than expected.

My son Billy received excellent care and rehabilitation at Select hospital. The staff treated him and his family with kindness and respect. His health improved so much during his stay here. Any concerns I have had or questions were answered and addressed so quickly. The staff is excellent.

People were very caring and more than met the needs I had. Highly recommend if anyone needed acute therapy. I would especially like point out my night nurse Eric and aide Dymesha.

I feel very strongly about some of the aides. They want me to get stronger. Physical therapy is fabulous. They want me to get stronger. They have me doing exercises in bed. Diane is wonderful. Very continently located.

On advice of surgeon I made the transfer of my wife to select specialty hospital in St.nFrancis, Wilmington. Due to complications from surgery remaining at an acute treat and street hospital was not in the best interest of my wife. The goal of select was to serve as a bridge from post surgery to either home or temporary nursing facility for further rehabilitation when appropriate. The course of recovery was complicated but progressed at an appropriate pace. The staff showed dedication and competence and a team effort was truly apparent from executive level to housekeeping. Requests were met with cheerful compliance. This is the appropriate facility filling the gap in the current health care continuum. I gladly recommend this facility .
