DON'T RECOMMEND THIS BANK!nnThere's is a lot I could say about US bank in general, one of my biggest annoyances is that they will hold a check no matter how long you have been a customer or how much money you have in your account. Other banks I have been to will often release the money immediately if it is coming from a bank in the area (especially if it is a cashier's check). At the very least, most banks are willing to call other banks to ensure that the check is legitimate and the money is in the account. US Bank is NOT one of those banks, for that reason alone, I would not recommend it.nnWhat I truly hate about the US bank in Sheridan, OR are the people who work there. It's unfortunate, but I've had nothing but bad encounters with the Manager and Assistant Manager, both of whom are condescending and don't care about helping their customers. While I can understand that US Bank has their policies, their employees need to take a few classes on dealing with the public. Everything from their tone, to the words they said, to the glares they sent our way was unacceptable.nnDo yourself a favor, don't use US Bank in Sheridan. There are several located in McMinnville, Oregon (only 15 minutes away) or better yet, use First Federal that is right next store.
I would never recommend this bank in a million years. While some of the tellers are truly lovely, the assistant manager is horrible to nearly everyone who has the misfortune of speaking with her. If I were US Bank, I would seriously reconsider who I put in charge of this place.nnIf you are considering going to US Bank, please know that you cannot ask questions about decisions they make, you cannot express complaints, you cannot make any concerns known. They truly do not care about you, your money, or your business.
