This was my first time here and it was awesome! Our server was Brittany and she was very friendly. We had the chipotle wings and they were better than any we have had previously. We had the Salad for dinner and that was also very good. Highly recommend this restaurant If you looking for friendly staff and good food.

Santa Fe Wilmington is the place I go with my family and friends when I want to have a great time, enjoy a fantastic and authentic Mexican meal with a delicious (and generously sized) margarita to wash it down, in a spacious, comfortable, and beautiful environment. As a key point, I have never experienced any less than top notch service during my countless visits here. It's clear that the owner Javier will not settle for less when it comes to the brand and the experience for every customer. It's also noteworthy in 2020 that this establishment also feels completely safe in relation to covid restrictions, and there is a very spacious outside patio with heating and open air seating. I would recommend that anyone who hasn't been here already to please give it a try and learn why spending time here with your family and friends isn't just an experience, it's a lifestyle.

We did take out, so I have not dined in the restaurant. Food was ok, but not memorable. Even though the website refers to the cuisine as authentic Mexican it has a TexMex feel. Nothing wrong with that, but not what I expect for authentic mexican.nnThe prices are a little high for the calibur of food. The portions are fine, but flavor wasn't consistent. The meat in the street tacos lacked the natural flavor that comes from meat slow cooking. The seasoned aroma should greet you first. The same with the enchilades, flavor was dominated by the pico de gallo and ranchero salsa. We ordered the fried banana cheesecake, but it didn't taste or look like cheesecake. A fried tortilla coated cinnamon, stuffed with banana flavored cheesecake filling... Except the filling didn't have any cream cheese flavor, instead was more like pudding.nnAll and all average TexMex.nRanks as not first choice, but ok backup.
