Bought two beautiful pairs of dress shoes from this location today. The quality is incredible and the service was excellent. Rachelle was extremely patient and knowledgeable. Great experience overall. Looking forward to buying my next pair!

They are nearby on Connecticut and in general sell a very conservative line of mens shoes. The uppers are made of strong leather and mated with rubber soles. The shoes are not really my style. I'd rather have an Italian mocasin say Ferrengamo. But my foot was crushed and I needed more support. I saw lace up shoes in blue with orange laces. Didn't look to bad. It's a little officious, the staff seem to be aloof and slightly unhelpful. I needed an extra lace. They had two versions, one set to short and one set to long. I felt the assistant didn't want to sell me either. It took care a patience to get her to give me a price. At $3 a pair I bought both and felt she was reluctant to sell them. One pair was totally acceptable. Shoes have changed over the last 10 years. It's rare to get leather soles and comfortable italian ones are expensive. But shoes shops seem to be disappearing.

Incredible service. On the fence about a purchase? Come here!!! I tried on three different pairs and they were more than gracious about the experience. Big fan of Allen Edmonds and this store carries that appreciation.
