Pacers Running

what a polite staff. that's a tough street, lots of track and as of late protestors and tons of police activity. I felt so welcomed from the jump. Emma, the young woman assisting me what soooo knowledgeable about my foot problem. She understood my need, and took the time to FIRST, LISTEN.... then answer all of my concerns. Then she took the time to bring out options as she could tell I was hesitant about the vanity factory of the shoe vs. the comfort. She didn't rush me, and she could tell I was still hesitant. She didn't force anything on me. She wrote down the info and her name, and as I am writing this review I truly realize she was right I should have purchased the item. It was pricey but I know it would have been a game changer for my serious discomfort. Thanks Emma. I appreciate your guidance, and I will see you soon to purchase my trainers. BTW, I don't live in DC, and I had had not intentions of shopping that day. Just goes to show if you treat a person with kindness a lot can change,

So thankful to have this local running store. The employees are always so friendly and accommodating. I'm a larger person and I don't get looked at sideways when I walk in. Surprisingly I run at least three times a week and several miles at a time, so I need to replace my shoes at least twice a year. On this last go-around, covid policies were abided by as well as social distancing. Employees gave their recommendations and I had fun picking out new shoes AND socks. They have Darn Tough running socks now too! Anyways, awesome store and I can't wait to go back! Thank you all!

This afternoon I visited Pacers to find a high-cushion running shoe to replace my Hokas. Bre is the specialist who walked me through every step of the process: she measured my foot, examined my gait, explained about the toe-to-heel drop and relevant features of comparable brands. I typically run about 30 miles/week, so proper shoes are critical. Bre and Pacers guided me to the right purchase, and I'm very grateful!!!

Scott helped me find a shoe that would help me with the way I walk and run. He was very informative and helpful with recommendations of shoes, and ways to get started. I highly recommend Pacers 14th to anyone that wants to get into running!
