Chaplin's is always a good time. Their craft cocktails are really unique and the menu is relatively inexpensive. I always get either the Tan-Tan Ramen (most flavorful) and add spice or the Chaplin A.S.S. which is already pretty spicy. I will say that the quality of your experience really depends on your sever however, like any restaurant. Most of the servers/bartenders are good.

The food is good, but not the best in DC.nnThe atmosphere is wonderful.nnThe service staff is top-notch.nnImpressed with the degree of safety during COVID.nnDefinitely worth going for an evening out. Highly recommend Chaplins

One of my favorite places in Shaw. They have a great cocktail selection and bartenders/ staff have always been top notch. Makes for a great first or second date spot. I would say the only downside is that the ramen is mediocre. Portions are on the smaller side with big bowl pricing and flavor leaves a lot to be desired. That being said 12/10 would recommend.

The ramen was delicious and warm great for a cold day. Plus everyone was following cdc guidelines for operation, so it made me feel safe to dine there. I really appreciate the great service and all the disinfectant cleaners that they had at their disposal. I felt very valued.
