Wok and Roll Restaurant(H St)

I visited this restaurant for the first time on Veteran's Day. It was POURING outside, and there were seemingly no places that had dine-in available in Chinatown. My friend and I stumbled upon Wok and Roll on H Street which was empty, though thankfully, we were able to eat-in.nnSince no one was there, we did not wait long to be seated. Our host/server was very professional, attentive, and catered to our every need. They have great hospitality.nnWe ordered the appetizer plentiful for 2 people which had wontons, spring rolls, ribs, and beef on a stick, glazed with sauce. That was delicious! I then ordered the udon soup with seafood, and was satisfied with that as well. I drank the zombie cocktail which has a strong pineapple taste. My date ordered the curry chicken meal that comes with fried rice. There was a LOT of food, so he ended up taking half of it to-go. That says a lot, because he never takes restaurant food home.nnOriginally, we were going to another eatery that I like. Fortunately, they were only delivering food because otherwise, I wouldn't have known about Wok and Roll.nnThank you all for great food and great service.

They say pick and delivery are available until 1:45. This is simply not true. I've been calling them to 1:30 but they are too lazy to answer. The employer should consider when his employees are wasting him money. I have about 6 people who did not get the chance to order. If they put this type of work ethic imagine the food.. dont go here

Great food & fast service. And the sizes are large enough for 2 even 3 people. I love this place for chinese takeout!

We have had this food twice and both times it was delicious.nnThe second time we order, the lady on the phone wasn't very kind. Witch was Sunday 9/20/20nnAlso our older from 9/20/20nWe had two large orders of shrimp fried rice, two miso soup, one shrimp Lo mein.nnI was told 1egg roll came with my order by the lady on the phone, whom took my order. No egg rolls came with the order.nnI did order additional egg roll after, arriving to pick up my order.nnit was delicious. But I found a piece of saran wrap plastic in the shrimp fried rice, very small piece but never the less it was in the food. I thank GOD I didn't swallow it.nnI hope that was the only piece that was in the food.nnEven though this happened I will give the taste and quality of their food a good rating.nnud83dude4fud83cudffeud83dudcafud83dude01

I promise you this place has the best chicken on a stick on the east coast. I've had it from NYC to Jacksonville and everywhere in between, NOBODY does it like they do. And it's in the spot where John Wilkes Booth plotted the murder of Lincoln. Best spot in town.
