Crimson Whiskey Bar

Nice space and extensive whiskey menu befitting of a place calling itself a whiskey bar. Was happily surprised to see a lot of local options in the menu, as well as domestic options as well before getting to other international options, both popular and not as well known. Definitely coming back to partake in more.

Crimson View: 1 starnWhiskey Bar: 5 starsnnSo I explored the crimson view (rooftop) and the whiskey bar (basement) and they were polar opposite experiences. Sat waiting for some sort of service on the rooftop and it wasn't that busy because it was raining non-stop. Eventually went to bar to get a menu, couldn't even get that, another patron handed me one. Menu is really small, ended up leaving because the whole experience was just terrible. Pretty much there were a lot of people standing at the bar not being served. Bartenders apparently did not want to serve customers or make any money.nnWent downstairs to the whiskey bar which opens everyday at 5pm, and it was aesthetically more my sort of place. Dark wood, brass light fixtures, open space and attentive bartenders. They have 150 types of bourbon, craft cocktails, beer, wine and a variety of southern-inspired fare. What's great is you can tell the bartender what kinds of cocktails you prefer and they can concoct something fitting. Our bartender Chris made our experience really fun and he had me try some new bourbons I've never had.nnWhenever I'm in the mood for bourbon I will be stopping by here to grab a drink!

Crimson offers your typical pub grub and beverages in a very dignified setting - it's a great spot to grab dinner & drinks before a CapOne event, happy hour with coworkers, or a 2nd/3rd date. The bar itself is set in a basement that feels quite spacious but also perfectly intimate for a small party or group of two. Happy hour deals weren't extensive but I got a boilermaker and veggie burger for just over $20 w/ tip, I'd call that pretty solid.

Great selection of whiskeys and cocktails. The upstairs has wonderful food and downstairs is more cocktails and some barfood. Watch out on a busy night because wait times can get long (understandably)

Although it was a busy scene, my party experienced fairly timed seating, highly attentive service and amazingly tasty food & well crafted drinks...Well done!
