Republic Cantina

We didn't get to try this place. We showed up and they couldn't seat us because they were booked. They tried to accommodate us by allowing us to order food and said they would set up some chairs on the sidewalk but we'd have to eat on our laps. I appreciated the effort, but I need a table and the neighborhood they are in is a bit strange. (There was a half-naked dude hanging out on a balcony overlooking the sidewalk.) We decided to go elsewhere. I can't speak to the food, but their service was excellent. If I was in town longer I'd definitely make a reservation and try again.

Visited here with their takeout only menu on the patio and was so impressed by their service and food quality! We were craving their the nachos. Unfortunately, they are currently not on the menu due to travel concerns. However, the kitchen obliged and whipped up some just for us! Best nachos...even in takeout containers. Thanks for making our night!

Lovely experience, friendly staff and tasty food. Patio dining is a must. Highly recommend brisket enchiladas!

Please come to this place! You’ll be treated like a true Rey de España! Tracy, the bar manager, is awesome. We came here for a birthday and it was great!! Juan José (JJ) is great too!

I ordered takeout tonight. They texted to confirm & when it was ready. Super fast and tasty too. I will definitely be back
