Great staff, easy to negotiate with wheel chair, spacious elevator.

I recently had an unfortunate encounter the Dr. Aloka. I was never incredibly impressed with this facility, but it never rubbed me the wrong way. However, I am currently looking for a new clinic because of that woman.nnI was diagnosed with ADHD as a young teenager, and have been prescribed drugs since my original diagnosis. I had been going to Providence Sherwood for 2 years, and my previous Doctor there had been writing my prescription the entire time, asked me questions, and generally seemed like he cared. He had left, and Providence assigned me to Dr. Aloka. The moment I went in for a refill, I felt like I was being treated like an addict. She filled me a 1-month prescription, but made me sign an agreement that I would consent to random urinalysis, and my prescription would stop even for Marijuana use. Also, she wanted my original diagnosis from the Doc I had when I was 13, in order to continue writing my Rx. Okay, I get it, she is protecting herself.nn3 weeks go by and I have not heard anything from the office. I just got a new job, and I was getting ready to travel to Austria for 6 weeks of training. Just to make the point clear, my Rx can almost be fundamental for my learning some days, but I digress. I call the office to see what the deal is, and lo and behold they had not attempted to call the doc who originally diagnosed me. I am a little frustrated by this point, as it's Wednesday, and I'm flying out on Labor Day. Now Sherwood is telling me that my records don't exist, and my old doctor new nothing about my diagnosis. Lies, lies, lies. I called my original Doctor, but he is up in Seattle, so I was not ever able to fill my Rx.nnPoint of the story is that Sherwood medical, and many of their staff are very complacent, and will then lie or dismiss you completely. I hope other people have a better experience than me, but I am incredibly disappointed with there staff, and especially Mrs. Aloka.

They were the most helpful staff ever. They told me all the facts about my conditions when I was sick, never told me about about things that do not really help or is useless information. Always greeted me in the nicest of ways.

We really like some of the Doctors and PA's here but having been a patient since 2000, we've seen a lot of turnover. Wish there was a dermatologist on site as well, that would be very convenient!
