McMenamins Greenway Pub

It was very nice to be at a restaurant again. Much better quality than prior experiences with McMenamins. Attentive staff, but not intrusive. Fresh hot food that hadn't been sitting under a warming lamp. The beer was outstanding - strong and cold!

I've met here for drinks and tots before and it's been fine. Service ranges from great to decent. But last night I decided to have their Bayou Salad with Chicken and was rewarded with food poisoning all night and I'm still recovering today. I'm guessing they don't wash their lettuce properly because it tasted fine.nI called to let them know and they said they would double check the food, but it sounded like I was getting dismissed more than acknowledged. The rest of my party had sandwiches or burgers and they were fine, so if you stay away from the salads, you'll probably be ok.

I used to go to McMenamins all the time when I first moved up here in 2006. The food was always yummy, with good portions at a reasonable price. I hadn't been in a few years, but I was craving a Reuben today, and this McMenamins is about a 2 minute drive from my house. I ordered through Doordash, and my order did arrive very quickly. The sandwich was almost all very dry bread. There was virtually no meat, much less sauerkraut or Thousand Island. The meat that was on it was tough and chewy. The Cajun Tots (which I paid extra for), were ice cold, mealy, and tasted nothing like Cajun seasoning. The peppercorn ranch had zero pepper flavor. I threw most of the meal out. Very disappointing.
