Rik's Shoes

The only reason I gave this place one star is because ZERO stars is not available. Today, I was with my 8-year-old nephew on Garrison Avenue. We were waiting for the business next-door to open up. it was cold, it was raining, the wind was blowing, and my nephew desperately had to pee. He was doing the potty dance and about to cry because he was going to have an accident. We rushed into Rik’s Shoes as it was the closest door available. There was a lady and a gentleman, who both appeared to work there. I first explained to the lady that my nephew was desperate for a bathroom and asked if we could we please use theirs. She said “ Probably not“. I then asked the gentleman if he could please use the restroom before he has an accident. He told me there was a bathroom a few doors down at the state building. I asked him if he could please make an exception, and he refused.nWow… Just wow. I get it that you just can’t let anyone walk In off the street to use the bathroom, but this was a child. It was cold and rainy and windy outside. He was desperate. really? You can’t help a child out? I’m sure the shoes in this store are beautiful, but I will never shop there.

Never never buy shoes from this place. I have had two bad experiences when bringing back shoes for a refund. The first time I brought back a pair the old man said I saw these coming back. Well how rude. The second time I ordered a pair of shoes over the phone and talked to some woman. When I went to pick them up I tried them on and told her they were to tight and they will not work. Well she tried her best to stretch those shoes to where they would fit and I kept telling her no they were to tight. Well I finally got a refund but her comment on me was I was just impossible to work with.im sorry but I’m not buying uncomfortable shoes!nI try to buy at the small businesses in my town but when they become so rude because I want to return something that’s just wrong! People do return items! I bet that woman and man have returned plenty in their lifetime! Just saying if you want to keep your small business you better expect returns and be nice about it!!!!!!

Been shopping here for the last 18 years,quality shoes from sas.Sooo comfortable and the best service in town,thank you.
