I'm disappointed. I have been a loyal J. Crew customer for years. I have frequented this store over the years and the service has been extremely hit or miss. Unfortunately, lately there have been more misses. I was told I could not return a gift item because it was final sale - even after I had bought the next size up in exchange. I understand that policy is that of J. Crew, and not necessarily specific to this store, but the attitude I received from the employees was very cold and demeaning. It felt like they were punishing me for THEIR horrible return policy! I am tired of J. Crew, a failing company, not prizing its loyal customers. I will not return and will instead seek out J. Crew items on a third-party website like Poshmark. Why give them my dollar anymore?
The manager at this store is rude AF and the entire staff ignores customers. Plus their clothing is cheaply made is China. Save yourself and shop local.
Please do not advise customers to purchase in store and home deliver when you are not sure if the company still has stock of the selected item. It was a very unpleasant to be waiting for an order that would never be fulfilled. At the minimum send an email stating that the order won't be fulfilled. Very negative experience of this location and the organization in general.
Awful customer service at this location (8/27/19) I will not come back.nnTo summarize: I ordered online and had my items shipped to the store. The woman at the counter was rude and appeared irritated when she had to go back into the stock room to get my items, not once but twice (her fault as she did not check how many total items I had).nnThe downtown location has much friendlier and more professional staff.
If I could give a zero rating I would. I use to shop here a lot and had great customer service. I am not sure what happened but I had the worst experience this past weekend. When I walked into the store no one said hi or even asked if I needed any help. Instead what I got was an employee looking at me like I was going to take something. Sadly with this experience I will not be returning to this JCrew location.
