Natures Pet - Sherwood

I love how I was greeted immediately upon walking in, and asked if I could use help finding something.The young gal treated me like an old friend. The store upon first glance seemed small, but once inside I was pleasantly surprised at its size and great inventory! Great place to get your animals needs met! I will definitely be making this my go to for my fur babies!

I have been a customer here for a few years and have always had friendly service. The selection of food, treats and toys is good. Yesterday my husband purchased our usual bag of raw food for the pups and upon opening it we realized that it was rotten by the rancid scent. I called to ask if I could exchange the bag explaining the rancid scent and was told that whom I was talking to was a new employee and she told me she was not trained yet on handling returns and said to call back tomorrow. Not a problem so I waited and called back but was told that they could not do any refund or exchange due to covid and that I would need to call the manufacturer instead. However, I still needed a bag of raw food for my pups and if I was to purchase another bag from Nature's and it too was rotten, then I would be stuck with two bags of rotten food that are not returnable or even exchangeable. So I called Mud Bay instead and asked them their policy on returning food and they told me that all of their products including food are fully refundable. Needles to say, I bought the raw food from Mud Bay instead. I can't afford to chance getting stuck with another bag of inedible food for the pups. I think Nature's is a great little store but I don't understand the no refund policy. If it was only due to covid I could understand a little more but from reading others reviews, several other people have also been denied refund or exchanges over the years so it doesn't appear to be a new policy. I want to know that my pups will be taken care of so I prefer where I shop to be able to exchange a faulty bag of food.

While we love Nature's Pet in general, just wanted to give some extra love to the Sherwood location and staff for taking the time to help me find the best good chewies for our furry fam. I didn't get her name (my bad!), but the employee was so patient and informative while she answered my many questions and made recommendations while explaining why the various options fit the needs/requirements for my dog. She was also friendly and accommodating with the puppy I had with me (socialization outing and errand in one!), especially when I told her of his dietary restrictions (she got something else to give him as a treat!). Thanks, Sherwood location! You guys are always super helpful, and I appreciate it!

Great store. Lots of items I hadn’t seen at bigger stores. Great friendly service too. Highly recommend.

This store has so many amazing options and all the workers I have encountered are so nice and so knowledgeable! They have really helped guide me through kitten nutrition and in turn have made my kitty VERY happy and healthy! I recommend this place to all!
