We had heard good things about the Beehive, so we ordered five Smokehouse meals for takeout one Friday evening and were disappointed when we got home. The 2 brisket dinners(?) had two pieces of very fatty brisket and a piece of toasted white bread each. The combo dinners were better, each with a nice piece of sausage, a rib, some pulled pork, one piece of brisket and some toast. The rib dinner had 4 fair size ribs. For $9, $12 and $10, respectively, we were really expecting a side dish and more meat.

They opened the giant garage doors at dinner service...it was 90 degrees outside and humid as hell. Within minutes of the doors being opened flies were all over our food. If you're craving a beer or cocktail then its probably okay place but be prepared to sweat while you drink it. Stay away from the pizza. I tried one of every taco they had. Brisket is the best out of the bunch. If I had to make a recommendation to the owner it would be to get a smaller door put in to access the outside dining area and install some outdoor speakers and more fans. Keep those big garage doors shut...plus you'll save on the AC bill in the long run. Maybe I'll come back when it's about 50 to 60 degrees out.

Great place with a great atmosphere! Owner is very friendly. Service is really great. Food is good too! We love it there

Waitress was very distracted took 25mins. just to get a menu then another 20mins to get our drink order, with our food order being taken almost an hour into the visit, the food was great when we finally got it.nDefinitely Not a good first impression
