Red Lobster

Haven't been to a Red Lobster for maybe a year. Things have changed. I used to enjoy their salads. The salad dressing was obviously different than before. My husband and I both noticed the taste. We didn't eat them. The cheddar biscuits were still good but not as good as they used to be. Our meals were okay. Our waitress did a fine job but we didn't complain. This is something she couldn't fix.

My husband and I enjoyed our dinner here. I thought the New Orleans salmon and shrimp was delicious. My husband had a very tender new York strip steak. It was just a little too pink for medium well, though. We both chose green beans as one of our sides, and we were each given a giant serving of beautiful, tasty green beans. Our server took very good care of us and was very pleasant.

Pretty sure the food sits out under heat lamps or something all day, or maybe just comes out of a can.... It's not terrible, but it is definitely not worth what they charge for it. Even the biscuits, which are the best thing about Red Lobster, were stale at our last visit. It was like picking up a delicious looking apple only to bite into it and realize it was your three year olds plastic fruit.

Service was as good as it could be due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Taylor gave superior customer service, I would as for her by name. The only disappointment was the desert. The chocolate cake was old, but besides that my visit to Red Lobsters was fine.

Dale was an awesome server last night. We had a birthday party and he was terrific plus he had a couple more tables besides us. Handled everything great, they were so busy. We even watched him clean off our salt and pepper shakers before he gave them to us. Safety and great service. Food was great. Didnt come out too quickly. Thank you for a great night.
