Tuality Physicians

I came to the clinic once at their old location for an urgent care situation, and they've been my primary care office for years since! I moved and have been in downtown Portland for 3 years now and still take the Max to see these folks. I've never felt anything but listened to (from everyone from phone questions to front desk interactions to providers to the amazing lady who does the blood draws) and have never had any concerns about my quality of care. I just found out that they'll no longer be on my insurance, and honestly, even with the 2-hour round trip, I'm still upset about it!

Anytime I go here, I wait an extremely long time to see anyone. Each time I have had an appointment time set to come in and do not get seen anywhere from 50 minutes +. Luckily I haven’t been pressed on time to get anywhere afterwards. But the time management is AWFUL. I understand offices can get backed up - but every single time I have been it has been a terrible experience. I write this as I have been here for 65 minutes and still haven’t seen the doctor.

Very disorganized. They keep trying to send me 400$ bills every time I get a simple blood test or throat culture. I always have to call my insurance company which tells me that them trying to charge me 400$ is illegal since their contract makes it so I am covered. I would highly recommend going to a different primary care clinic that's less corporate.

Been seeing Dr. Hoffman for about 7 years. He is great about listening and works hard to solve your health issues. He's straight forward, yet polite and caring. My only criticism is that having to wait in the exam room is very common. However, because Dr. Hoffman has been so good to me, I honestly believe it's worth the wait to see someone who really cares.

Love my doctor. But awful front desk staff.
