I'm late on this review, but my mother-in-law went here in 2016-2017, I think, complaining of pains and they tried to send her home with instructions to take Ibuprofen. Instead she went to Grande Ronde hospital where she was told she had appendicitis and immediately put her in surgery after the tests to remove her appendix.nnHad she listened to this clinic and went home she'd probably not be alive now.

We are very fortunate to have this quality of service for primary care in Eastern Oregon. I recently had the misfortune of needing medical service and the clinic was able to get me in the same day with my provider. The front staff was amazing having all of my information current and check-in was quick. Dr. Yu’s nurse was the best!

Dr Szumski & Jared Hulme NP, are some of the best providers I’ve ever seen. I’ve seen other NP’s as well and have been satisfied, they seemed to really know what they were doing. The nurses & medical assistants I deal with have been prompt, responsive & respectful.nnAs far as issues, there are too many patients & not enough providers, which is likely a common problem in rural areas, and the office management may not be the most effective, scheduling issues etc. Their policy that if a provider is out of town a patient has to wait till they return to be seen, no NP coverage of office visits is pretty ridiculous. The visit I needed was a pre-op appt that needed to be done within a time frame, luckily my dr & his nurse/MA took care of it & got me set up with an NP but only b/c I was able to communicate the issue to my dr in an earlier appointment.nnI do wonder if the providers are being treated well, not that any have ever communicated such a thing to me, but the clinic does seem to lose providers somewhat frequently.nnBut considering all of the negative reviews on here, I decided to post my own. The experience of each patient may depend on the providers they see, but I wanted to share that in my experience of the last few years there are definitely some really good ones.

Writing this review as I’m still in the waiting room. Arrived at 12:15pm as a walk-in. It is now 2pm and I still have not been seen. The clinic is not busy either. This is not a patient-centered clinic and I only recommend coming here if you have the whole day off to sit in the waiting room or setting up an appointment.

Sitting in the parking lot out front as I type this up. Came into the walk in clinic this morning on a Wednesday, at 10:03. I was told there’s 4 people ahead of me. It’s 11:37 and I haven’t even been seen. I told the staffer I couldn’t wait any longer and her reply was, “okay, no problem”. You are probably better off going to the ER to be seen.
