Sherwood Urgent Care - Batesville, AR

I had to Waite about 20 minutes when I got there.. But after I got in the building. It didn't be take long to get my test done.. They explain everything that I needed to know. Really nice staff. Will use Sherwood Urgent Care again.

I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC!!!!nI needed a pre procedure covid test, my procedure is Thursday the 10th so needed the test done Sunday the 6th. I called the urgent care on Wednesday the 2nd and stated what I needed and why. I asked if they fid the rapid test and was there a charge. I was told yes they do them, yes they are open on Sunday and my insurance would cover the test. So today, the 6th we drove an hour to Batesville and waited 20 minutes to sign in for a rather rude receptionist to state that the charge is $147 that my insurance, Medicare, won't cover it. To say I was upset is an understatement. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC!!!

Went for COVID testing Saturday and sat in my car for three hours while they kept telling me they were on their way out to get me. I called thirteen times in three hours and was hung up on every time. When I got inside I was told insurance wouldn’t cover the test. I have blue cross blue shield and Medicaid. I had to pay $145. Did the rapid test and it was negative but the doctor said he would also like to send off my results and to call back Sunday at five. I called yesterday and was hung up on again. Then told they don’t have my results and then told they’re too busy to give me my results. Today I have called every two hours to get my results and they keep saying someone will call me. Said they’re too busy to give me my results. I will never be back to this clinic. No one had a clue what is going on or what they were doing and they’re all rude, except the doctor. He was the only pleasant person in the building.

Do not give them your debit card. They hold it in their office and if they don’t collect from insurance on the claim they take from your bank account. Our son is in rehab and will be for a year due to addiction. We have POA on him and noticed they took 300 from his account. He has no job, will be in rehab a year. He is fully covered on Medicaid and our insurance a hundred percent. They did not file it properly. In Arkansas Medicaid has to be filed first or it will be denied. They did not file properly and took his held debit card info and resubmitted. I believe there is a pci compliance that protects the consumer from businesses holding their debit card info. I called their third party and told them how to file the claim which they should know how to do. I don’t believe they can take money from his account months after he went to the doctor besides the fact it was their error and if they had knowledgeable people who know about insurance and filings they would have known how to file to get their money. They said he signed a form giving their office permission to keep his debit card information up to a year. I have never heard of this law. I believe pci will be interested in hearing this along with the Attorney generals office. The sad thing is he has no idea they took this and is not capable of paying for it with no job and income coming in. Who protects the consumer? Don’t use this facility. Very scary to know someone is this dirty. Our son is very sick and trying to get the help he needs. They absolutely showed no compassion or empathy. Even though it was their error and they would get their money. Very disturbing.

I'll have to say this amidst all the coronavirus testing and everything going on Donna Dutton at Sherwood urgent Care is a caring understanding and a great healthcare provider she takes the time to give you your results and explain them if you don't understand them I'm glad to know that her and the Sherwood urgent team is not only there for me but for you too
