Ascent Bodyworks

One of the best shops I’ve been to, especially for a small town. Have had several piercings done here and will be back for more. Always answers quickly and professionally to any questions I’ve had, even for piercings I’ve gotten elsewhere that I had issues with. I live in Portland now, but will make a trip out to the coast just to get more done. A fantastic shop!!

I absolutely love this shop! There isn’t anywhere else I would go. Super clean, wonderful environment, and their piercer provides great aftercare instruction! I would recommend to anyone looking to start, or continue their bodywork adventure.

I will only ever let Rhonda pierce my body! She’s done my lobes, daith, and double helix, all on different occasions. When I was having troubles with an irritation bump, she instantly answered my phone call, asked me some questions regarding my aftercare, and offered to switch my jewelry to see if I was having an allergic reaction to the jewelry. It got sorted, healed perfectly, and I will always recommend Ascent Bodyworks! Oh, and her shop is STERILE! It is the cleanest piercing shop I’ve seen, hands down.nnBe wary of negative reviews; not everyone follows aftercare instructions, or is prepared for the commitment that is body piercing.nnShe is knowledgeable, cares about her clients, and fantastic at what she does. I plan on making another appointment soon!

I got my nose pierced there a little bit ago, I’ve never had any problems with it, it looks great. I have also gone in since to purchase jewelry for it, it’s always been good quality and not too spendy.

Wow, all I can say is wow. My girlfriend and I called to schedule an appointment in early September to come in and each have our noses pierced. The woman that helped us told us we were getting 20 gauge nose screws that had to stay in for 6 months. From start to finish the procedure was a mess. She botched my girlfriend first and only after having to clamp down on her face to stop bleeding she realized she didn’t have half of the sterile equipment/gauze that she would need and ran out of the room. After finally getting the piercing through on the second attempt it was clear she was rattled by the mishap and was ready to get the whole thing over with. I jumped on the table and proceeded with semi-blind faith, and we completed my piercing with no issue. She escorted us to the front, where we were sold a “after-care” package. This package consisted of extra Himalayan sea salt, a salt water spray, and follow up with any after -care related issues.nnAfter about a month it was clear something wasn’t right. Her nose was constantly bleeding, swollen, sore. We made multiple attempts to make contact to arrange a consultation to have it looked at. We were not able to make contact. After contacting another piercing studio in Portland it turns out it was an allergic reaction to the antiquated jewelry that was initially used. Oh, and we were both pierced with an 18 gauge, not the 20 gauge we were told during the procedure. Never again will I come to your shop nor will I ever recommend any of your services. ZERO STARSnnTRASH!!!!!
