West Valley Hospital

I just moved to Oregon and experienced a bad fall. I had no health insurance yet but because of intense back pain I was compelled to seek medical attention. I was leary about going to the hospital after reading such horrible low reviews about the hospital. Well I want to say my experience was quite the opposite. From the moment I walked in the care and compassion was abundant. The wait was short, the nurses were caring and understanding and made me feel as comfortable as possible. The xrays were done quickly and before I knew it the Dr came in to examine me. Her compassion and kindness were refreshing. Because I was there due to excruciating pain I was afraid the staff would think I was there just for pain meds. The Dr quickly validated my pain and offered medications to help in my recovery. Thank you so much to the awesome Doctors and nurses and the kind and compassionate manner in which they serve! Bravo Salem health west valley hospital!

Went for a covid test. Tester had her mask under her nose and didn't properly swab my nose. I know where my turbinates are and how long 15 seconds is. Phone staff proved to be equally competent.

I went in for a covid test because i got exposed and had symptoms and the doctor or whoever just opened the door and started yelling at me and then slammed the door shut. Denied me a test and sent me away.

Some kind of weird scheme where the ER physicians charge independently. Had an ER visit here last year, was there for perhaps an hour and have pretty robust insurance. All in all, the hospital charged me and the ER physicians charged me for a total of nearly $8k. I'm accident prone, been to the ER quite alot in oregon and washington over the last two years. NEVER been charged anywhere near this much anywhere else. If you are hurt. Stay home, don't get price gouged.

On 6062019 I was kidnapped taken into the Dallas branch held down and injected with adavan on allegations of being high. I do not wish to be treated with this type of practice ever. DNR in Dallas evet. That could end up a bad situation if i lost my composure.
