Petland Rogers ?

This place has the nicest customer service i’ve experienced while being in Arkansas. The puppies are all well cared for and are super playful and happy. 10/10 recommend if you’re looking to adopt or just need a serotonin boost.

I’m going to start by saying my dog is in good health. That being said, that doesn’t negate the other several shady practices and reviews about this company. For starters, there’s no recording of the sire or dame which (for puppy’s that are marketed as pure breed) is common amongst puppy mills, not local breeders. Secondly the person whom sold us the dog guaranteed they would be with me if I had any questions but dropped off the face of the earth days after I took the dog home. I also took the pup for his first vet visit, and forwarded the statement to Solutions for reimbursement. Several weeks later, nothing. I called and was told that they were getting to it but wouldn’t cover the entire bill. That’s fine, I already knew only certain expenses would be covered by the company. However having reached out to my dog contact and getting no response, I can’t say I’m hopeful. I was also not given a printed out statement about the credit lender I was to be paired with to get the dog, nor have I been able to get my account started in order to look at payments/fees for the dog. Finally after reading about the Humane Society’s investigation into Petland I’ve become increasing less sure about going through this company. Like I mentioned, my puppy is still healthy. But several people have mentioned unfortunate circumstances with absolutely not problem solutions from Petland nor any financial compensation for puppies who have died from (unexpected) diseases that Petland said they would not cover. I have never purchased a dog from any person or company like Petland and, though I like my dog still, I wouldn’t do it again nor would I recommend it to anyone. Especially when they can’t guarantee the safety, healthy, or care that comes with the puppies and their parent dogs.

Puppy love!

Adopted a puppy from there yesterday. Yes I got sticker shock but my new puppy is beautiful. She was well taken care of and Jack and the other lovely lady treated me so well. My puppy so far is healthy, happy, and beautiful. I recently lost my Maltese of 15 years and meeting this puppy brought me happiness I never thought I'd feel again. The nice lady took my photo and texted it to me to share from her own phone. The puppy came with a huge amount of quality supplies built into her price. They took the time to get everything in my budget and the Nice manager lady was so sweet. I look forward to many years with my puppy. I've always adopted from shelters so this is my first pet store experience. Yes the dogs are expensive, but unconditional love is priceless. Than you PetLand!nnUpdate! Took my puppy to the vet and she is Healthy from Head to Tail!!

Only giving one star because I haven’t personally been into this business or experienced this. BUT I do have to say that so far after doing research I am unimpressed and no longer plan on coming to view any puppies from them. I’m sure this review will get no where, as obviously there is a customer group that this business is geared to, but if I can help anyone, well then I’d say that I did my duty.nnI found Petland while searching online for a puppy. I live three hours away (1 way, so it’d be 6 hrs round trip), so I sent an inquiry on a puppy I saw on their website. I did like that I got a prompt answer back from the store happily willing to answer my questions. Although after I said which puppy I was interested in knowing more about they kept pushing for me to come visit the store. I continued to say that I live quite a ways away and didn’t want to waste anyone’s time if I couldn’t afford the puppy and asked for the price. They ignored my question and continued to just say I should come visit the establishment and see the puppy. This is when I turned to google and reviews to find answers and after that I have found out that they ask CRAZY prices for these babies. No one that I know of and I know for myself that I cannot afford $6000 for a puppy upfront. In some replies to reviews they say that it’s much more than a price for them and that it should be for potential buyers too. I’m sorry but obviously it IS about a price for this business if they’re charging that much for a puppy, and then doing anything and everything they can to charge customers more and more fees. Yeah, if someone wants a puppy they’ll pay the right price, but dang I’ll spend $6000+ on my dog during it’s lifespan taking care of and spoiling it to spend that much to begin with. So I agree with what others have said, find a reputable breeder!! You can find purebred puppies for less than half the price they’re asking!nnTo further my research, their replies to some reviews on here are absolutely terrible and unprofessional. They are rude to you if you post a negative opinion or bad experience, but I found one guy who posted the same things everyone else did but because he mentioned to file a law suit against them they were nice and apologetic and more than willing to help correct the problem, probably because they knew they’d lose a lawsuit.nnI wanted to give this place a chance and I thought I found the perfect baby to add to my family, but as a single mother with a low income I am no longer considering this business as a possibility. I just hope these puppies ARE well taken care of like some of the reviews say but there’s so much controversy that I am starting to doubt it.
