G & S Shoes

So pleased everytime I visit here. Always greeted at the door with what Sam Walton called aggressive hospitality. Really makes you feel like a million dollars and they are very happy to see you. Customer service in the old fashioned way is not dead. Maybe with the big boys, but not with G & S Shoes. May my God continue to bless them.

Stopped by for the first time last week and the service was fantastic. I was dropping off a pair of boots for repair and everything was explained perfectly. Prices seemed more than reasonable and had a big selection of boots and work shoes.

Asked to have a pair of shoes ordered told me they'd call and let me know, waited 2 days so I called them about it. Said they were waiting on the owner. Waited for 2 weeks and never heard from them. I used to buy all my shoes from there but not anymore! Poor service for a loyal customer

Still a place like I remember as a child. Service, assistance, one on one by a courteous shoe salesman.

The sales clerks delivered valuable advice on making my selection, they welcomed any and all questions. They were attentive, helpful, and funny to talk with. The store has a great selection compared to the other places I looked (Cabela's/Academy)nThe store had a great pair of boots for me, and I can come back if there are any problems or if I need advice. That's why I bought local instead of ordering online.
