Palanca Hotel

The best hotel in Malanje. Very organized, clean and beautiful. I recommend the view in the restaurant.

Nice modern hotel in the heart of Malange, l liked the rooftop restaurant, the view was awesome. The staff can do better in being more friendly to patrons and potential clients. I enjoyed the big spacious room and services, breakfast was awesome too good variety of foods.

Rooms were good, very nice pool and poolside bar, Vue from the rooftop restaurant is great, but food and service are not at 4 stars level

A very poorly constructed building with 2 elevators of which one is broken an the other one feels and sounds like it is about to break. Furthermore due to the construction, the bass of the disco resonates throughout the hotel, making it impossible to sleep on Friday and Saturday nights up to 4-5 o clock. They staff was certainly willing to help. We changed rooms from 5th to 9th floor but the noise wasn't much better. At first they also gave a suite as some sort of compensation for the troubles, but.... told me to go to yet another (normal) room just after I finished installing... Restaurant has (too) many waiters all very willing to help (as is all the other staff). The food isn't great but not terrible either, except that it's all pretty cold. Moreover, I'm pretty sure it was the watermelon juice that gave me a stomach bug. WiFi is available on request but not usable on all floors. Water pressure not always good in higher floors. The normal rooms don't have any kind of table or desk where you can work. There is only one light, so the room is rather dark. Checkout also took 45 minutes because of some computer system problem. Maybe other people are more flexible towards these issues but they'll not see us again if we can avoid it. Hotel Portugalia is a better choice, but regularly fully booked. I want to finish with a positive note: all the staff is definitely willing to help and the views from the rooms and rooftop restaurant are pretty good!
