Not happy, booked a car and then got told they gave it to another person because of lack of communication. Words cannot describe the frustration.

I booked through a third party, and tried to show my coupon as instructed by the app I booked through. The customer service representative wouldn’t look at it, they stated that they didn’t need to it was all in their system. I had only booked that morning, they admonished me by telling me how lucky I was there was a car for me. They then proceeded to tell me how the excess reduction had been pushed through to them. I challenged that once, but I wasn’t in the headspace to argue (I was in the process of moving, and just needed to get going). Turned out they didn’t know their own system, and the excess reduction being pushed through to them was garbage, probably something to do with my profile settings instead. I ended up paying for the insurance twice, because I wasn’t more persistent and the customer service representative didn’t want to take the time to listen. I’m a gold member of Hertz, and have never had such bad service from them. There airport Perth branch is amazing but my advice would be to avoid the Perth Downtown branch after this experience. I know I will be.

They charge me twice. The remove $180 in my account the day I book it and the they remove another $225 in my account yesterday too ..i was charged $405 for just 5 days for booking. I will never book a rental with them
