Good range of products and some excellent buys. Not happy that some products for sale are not marked with prices. Not enough staff in the morning so long wait to be served even when the store is almost empty of customers

Initially, I was thrilled at the selection. I left with a sour taste in my mouth though after the rudeness I was shown by staff. I understand that everyone has bad days but if you can't maintain a basic level of kindness to customers in a very straightforward, two-minute exchange, you're not in the right place.
I was shopping for curtains for my house. Found exactly what I was looking for. Staff were very helpful showing where the section was I needed and answered a few questions I had about the type of curtains needed. Price was great - the curtains I chose were on sale. Would recommend the store to anyone.
I do enjoy Spotlight and all it has to offer especially the craft and party supplies sections and for everyday linen. However, they tend to be very hit and miss each time I shop at Spotlight. Ironically, the 'Hits' are when casually shopping (pre and post Christmas), I am likely to find things 'I never knew I needed!' and at a great price. When I go specifically for advertised specials and themed party items they are constantly 'Out of Stock' which is very disappointing and as such lose 1 star. A further star is lost due to the apparent lack of floor staff available for any queries - normally no where to be found.........
